Konku was zapped, and it hurt a lot...he understood why that Charvitle had run. Heaving a breath, he fired a Flamethrower.

The flamethrower was a critical hit, and the zapdeon already began panting. "What?!" Steven said, amazed that it was possible anyone could cause this much damage on his so far undefeated pokemon. "Zapdeon, Thunder!"

Konku jumped back, and let loose a Dragon Breath at the Zapdeon.

The zapderon was quite damaged, but not so much, and then it attacked with a thunder wave attack.

It hit...But nothing seemed to happen...Perhaps it takes time to paralyze the muscles of a Ghost and with a deep inhale of breath, the Fire 'Mon shot out another blast of Flamethrower.

The zapdeon dodged, then shot another thunder wave. The charmander had to paralyze eventually...

But the move had no effect; the Charmander was apparently already paralyzed. "C-char!" he fired another blast of Flamethrower...He did seem to be slowing down a bit...

The flamethrower hit, and the pokemon skidded back. It looked like it was in pretty bad shape. "Zapdeon, Blue Thunder!" Steven commanded, and the pokemon obeyed.

The Ghost Charmander was rooted to the spot, and was zapped brutally, "Cha.." it coughed a bit of smoke out and then narrowed it's eyes and fired a Dragon Rage at the blue Pokemon.

The dragon rage hit hard, and the pokemon fell to the ground. It almost looked KO'd for a moment, but it slowly stood back up, obviously hurting. It then weakly tried a blue thunder.

It was a weak move, but it was enough to push the paralysis into full swing; The Ghost was Immobile for the moment.

The Charmander, still quite stuck, sucked in a breath and shot a fair amount of Embers at the Zapdeon.

This was enough to KO the zapdeon, who was returned and replaced by a small pink blob that promptly became a ghost charmander. "Ditto! Flamethrower!"

Konku was pushed back, still paralyzed. Kumori took out the Ghost Pokemon's Poke'ball, and returned him. There was no way he was going to push'em; after all, he'd done a good job on the Zapdeon. "Alright; Dairu, go!" tossing a Poke'ball, a Totodile came out
"Tototototo!"

Dairu barely flinched, it was mostly the 'Fang' part that hurt and not the 'Fire', and since the Ghost Pokemon got so close, Kumori commanded a "Bite!" and the Water Pokemon complied.

The bite did not hurt very much at all, and the ditto/charmander used a flamethrower when the foe was close.

The Totodile, surprised the Bite did not hurt the Ghost went tumbling back. "Hydro Pump, then!" so Dairu fired the jet of water.

This attack hurt horribly, and the pokemon probably lost a third of it's hp. Not giving up, however, the ditto used fire spin.

The Totodile rolled, letting the Fire Spin scorch but not trap. And the scorch didn't hurt too much. "Keep it up, another Hydro Pump!"

The attack caused the same ammount of damage this time, and it was now in a whole lot of pain. "Ditto, Slash!"

Dairu tottered back, the Slash stung quite a bit. "Aqua Tail!" since the Ditto was close, the Totodile sweeped his tail at the offending Pokemon.
"TooTooDiiile!"

The pokemon was now down to extremely low health. Using all the strength it had left, it pooled it's energy for a powerful slash attack.

"ToooTooo!" the little crocodile held it's nose, where there was deep crimson scratch. "Toto...Dile..."
"Don't get discouraged, try a Water Gun!" suddenly full of rage, Dairu did so, sending a blast of water at the Konku replica.

The trainer's last pokemon was KO'd, and he returned it. "You're better than I thought" He commented. "I guess I'm going back to Aqua village pokemon center. Lucky I didn't go far from it. Bye!" He said, running off into the next town, which apparently wasn't very far away at all, and you could see it if you looked hard enough.

"I would venture to guess 'yes'..." so the two headed rather slowly to the City. Kumori because he wasn't looking forward to the hustle and bustle and people...Dairu because it was more dramatic.
