Sulteron walked along Emerald Path, shivering with a mixture of emotions. She wasn't sure what to expect as she recalled why she'd signed up to this. She'd been just about the only Pokemorph in all of Tyri. Her mint-green tail curled around herself and her fur bristled with hatred as she thought about the evil man who was enslaving all the 'morphs for miles. It was terrible! She hated him more than anyone could have ever hated anyone before. Lukily ahe had phycic powers, and could hide from the evil man using invisibility in her Pokemon form. She walked further along the path, and started to get lonely. She knew that there would be more people at the end of the path, but she was feeling nervous, and could do with a friend for a bit.

(( You look like you're asking for a partner here, mind if I drop in? ))
Drake was walking only a short while in front of Sulteron, looking back and forth nervously. He was openly afraid that another one of those morph-seeking cages was going to swoop out of the sky any second, and the fact that almost all the other morphs had been captured didn't inspire much confidence... but, even if he did somehow manage to survive his capture attempts every time for the rest of his life... he hated being so alone. Being a morph was a pain, being the only morph... well, that was why he was here; to save himself and all the other pokemorphs. Though, he didn't have very much information at this point... the morphs are gone so you should go to the Emerald for some reason; that was pretty much it. And he had been hiking for a while now. "Saving the world always seemed like such an exciting concept" He sighed, sitting down in the grass at the side of the path.

((Thanks for joining!)) Sulteron froze as she heard a voice. She had heard that the terrifying man was around these parts, could that be him? She slowly made her way towards where the sound was coming from, ready to turn into her Pokemon form is it was him. She gave a sigh of releif as she saw it was just an ordinary traveller. Then she looked more closely. "Wait a minute, you're a Pokemorph too? I thought there wern't many in all of Tynri!" She said, examining his ears, teeth and tail. He seemed freindly. "Well, hi. My name's Sulteron. I'm heading for the Emerald, to go and rescue a bunch of Pokemorphs." She said, extending a hand for him to shake in greeting.

That was... sudden. At least, for him. "Eh, yeah, that's why I'm here too..." He said, answering both the questions in a way. He got up off the ground and shook hands, "I'm Drake. And to be honest, I thought I was the only morph left, I haven't seen one all week... well, nice to meet you" It was nice to know that there was at least one more morph, quite possibly more than that. If there were going to be many trainers teaming up to save the world, he didn't want to be the only pokemorph there. "Do you, ehm, know which way we're supposed to be going? Because either I'm lost or this path is a lot longer than I thought..."

"We're going to the Emerald, and it should be down here somewhere. I think, by the look of it, the Emerald is on the edge of Tynri, since it's near parts of the Hoen region. Which should be some walk. Sulteron answered. She shrugged, then said, "But it does get quite tireing, and more boring than I always imagined saving the world to be. Hey, let walk together! It would give us something to do. Anything would keep Sulteron from being bored now. She wouldn't mind starting with someone else. She hoped he was a good trainer, since they might run into a wild Pokemon, or another trainer. And she didn't have many Pokemon right now... Oh well, it's quality over quantity.

{{Rai!;
{Veee, vee! Eevee!}
A rather excited Eevee gambolled into view, its fur fluttering and streaming out behind it. It skidded to a halt, however, upon sight of the two strangers. {Veeeeee....}
It seemed rather worried, shying back a few paces. "Eevee! Come back here!"
The Eevee turned, and squealed with delight as a trainer came running into view. It leapt into his arms, then turned a baleful eye at the strangers. "Sorry about Eevee here - he can be very naughty at times. Isn't that right?" He gently ruffled the fox's fur, and it looked mournfully up at the trainer. {Well I was excited, and scouting ahead, because you know trouble can be around every corner, and then I smelled her.} He inclined his head at Sulteron, and Tsuki looked up. She seemed familiar. Name, name... what was her name? "Sul... solta... sulte... Sulteron! That was it - you're Sulteron, aren't you! I think I know you..."
His voice trailed off, before he introduced himself to them both. "I'm Tsuki. So sorry for just barging in on you like this, but Eevee led me off."
He grinned apologetically, before allowing the Eevee to climb onto his shoulder, where it sat, happily barking out a greeting.

Okay, either Drake was having a really good day or there were still quite a few pokemorphs left... still, if morphs were being caught, half of the remaining morphs would hide and the other half would try and fix it. "You two know each other?" He asked, looking form Tsuki to Sulteron curiously.

"No, but, he looks strangely familiar... Sulteron said, a puzzled expression on her face. She gave the Eevee a pat, and examined the newcomer. "Yes, for some reason you remind me of somewhere I've been. It's on the tip of my tounge..." She said, concentrating, trying to think of it. "Have I seen you at my Uncle Benjamin's house?" For some reason, she thought she remembered this 'morph from her one visit o her uncle.

Eevee rubbed against Sulteron's hand, purring like a cat. A grin spread across Tsuki's face, before he turned back to Sulteron. "Of course! That's where I know you from - you're my cousin!" With that, he rushed forwards in an attempt to envelop her in an embrace - though being of the slight physique he was, he probably didn't have much of a change against the taller, more elegant Sulteron. "Long time no see, eh?" He gave a grin up at her, and his tail began wagging energetically. "I didn't know you were coming to the Tynri region."

Sulteron smiled. "Cool! Finally, a relative who likes adventuring!" Her parents and brother weren't too keen on sloshing through mud, or scaling mountains, etc. "I started in the Tynri region not to long ago. I hear there are Pokemon exclusive to Tynri, and I hope to catch as many Pokemon as possible!" She explained, releasing her Growlithe, Hinote. His shining golden coat was ruffled by the breeze, and then he disappeared altogether.
"Hinote, show yourself. This is my cousin, Tsuki." Sulteron called out excitedly, a shiver running down her spine as she spoke the word `cousin`. Hinote reapeared and looked up mischeviously at Tsuki. "Hey. I din't know Sulteron had any relatives other than her parents and brother!" Then he saw Drake. He pawed the ground, and shook his ruff. "Say, I thought all the other 'morphs had been captured." He said, growing confused as he trotted down the path with the others.

Another family reunion. Only this time it wasn't about him, and he honestly felt sort of awkward now... like he was intruding, or something... it was still cool, though, that the two had found each other in such a random way. So... now they would be a team... three pokemorphs, that would have to be almost half the morphs in Tynri at this point. That's the sort of thing you'd read about in a book, a team of unlikely heroes. Maybe they'd be the ones to save the other morphs. Whatever the case, he wasn't going to say anything for now. There wasn't really much to say...

Sulteron, seeing the uneasy look on Drake's face, said "Come on, we'd best get a move on. We don't want the guy we're chasing to come along and kidnap us." Doing something would help make him feel more included, and she knew what it felt like to be left out when friends were reunited. Not that she rememeberd Tsuki very well, anyway.

"Yeah, it shouldn't be that much farther" Drake said, stretching. "Not to mention what great heroes we'll be if we have to be saved" He stuck his tongue out, waiting for Sulteron or Tsuki to start moving first.

((Pika's on holiday, or gone to a friend's, or something like that.)) Sulteron waited for Tsuki and Drake to catch up. She felt for her Pokeballs. It was there, Hino's ball, and some spare, should she run into anything. "Hey, Drake, you've been travelling a while, right? You must have LOADS of Pokemon." said Hinote, eyeing Drake's many Pokeballs.

{{Rai!;
(( Yep, sorry. On holiday at a friend's. )) Tsuki yelped as he realised the two 'morphs were leaving without him. Scooping Eevee hurriedly up, the fox let out a plainative bark as he sprinted after the figures already starting to fade.
Catching up, he skidded to a halt, and Eevee slithered down his top, clutching onto his belt before hitting the ground with a muffled thud. Releasing the minimised Pokéball that had fallen down with the small fox, Eevee watched as Corleo burst out of the ball, looking around blearily before getting up and staring, surprised, at the two morphs. {Company, eh?} he mewled. {Somebody I'm supposed to know?} "Sulteron and Drake. Drake, I've just met. Sulteron here is my cousin. Though it's been quite a long time since we last met." {Very nice.} The cat yawned, before beginning to scratch its ear nonchalantly. {The pleasure's all mine, I'm sure.}
Tsuki looked apologetically at the two morphs. "Sorry about this, he's kinda tired right now. He tends to be in a sour mood when he hasn't had his beauty sleep."

Sulteron laughed, and patted the Corleo's head. "It's OK. He's in very good condition. I guess, as my mum used to say, sleep is the best medicine." She said. As the Eevee fell down his shirt, her eyebrows raised. It was so cute! She loved Eevee.

Drake also liked eevees, (but who doesn't?) and he smiled at the pokemon's amusing acrobatics. "Eh, yeah" Drake said, getting back on the subject of the last question Sulteron had asked. "I do have quite a few pokemon, a couple legends too..."

"Legends..." Sulteron breathed. This trainer could definately be useful against the evil guy. "You done anything extremely out of the ordinary in this region? Apart from this, of course. Hey, I think it'll only take about half an hour or so longer. That looks like the Emerald, see, there in the distance." She said, pointing and squinting. Hinote floated up spookily to get a better veiw.

"I guess. Well, those poor pokemorphs. It must be terrible for them." Hinote rolled his eyes and said, "Now you know why I don't like it." Sulteron looked at him, and replied, "But this is very different. They've lost everything that was them, they're just an empty shell. And that shell is the wrongone, to make matters worse." Shuddering at the thought of not knowing that she was herself. "Luckily, I managed to escape in my Espeon form. You?" She asked Drake and Tsuki.

A shadow ball materialized in Drake's hand to make a point "They sent one of those flying cage things after me. I fried it. That's why it'll probably be back..." He extinguished the attack "If they're just shells, what if we can't give them back who they are, even if we save them? What if all we save is a group of mindless corpses?"

Sulteron shuddered at the word `corpses`. "They won't be. They still have consious thought, just they're, in a way, `programed` to think they're Pokemon." She said. She was starting to feel a little nervous.

"...Nice to know" Drake said, hearing the concern in her voice. He didn't want to mention that that still left them with the problem of finding a way to stop them acting like pokemon... he instead looked to the horizon, wondering if they had reached the Emerald... and then wondering what the Emerald actually looked like...

Suleron followed him gaze. "It must be terrible for them." She muttered. Hinote's eyes narrowed. "Hey!" He said indignantly, his golden fur ruffling in the breeze. He turned to Drake. "Watch'ya looing at?" He said, squinting to try and make out what he was looking at.

"Well, I can see something..." The morph said, "But, I'm not quite sure what it is..." There was some shapeless object in the distance, whether it was the Emerald or a strange landmark.

Tsuki looked harder, peering through his glasses at a speck on the horizon. "Reckon it could be the Emerald?" he asked, squinting to try and get a better look. Corleo clambered up his back and, satisfied it had a reasonably good grip on his head, began scanning the horizon too. {I think it must be.} it said, tilting its head sideways to get a better angle on the thing.
