Tsuki politely knocked on the door that said 'Pokémon daycare centere'. There was a brightly coloured notice below listing the baby pokémon currently available for adoption, but Tsuki ignored that for the moment. After all, with one baby - his newly aqquired Riolu, slumbering in his arms with a blissful expression on its face - in his care, he wasn't quite ready to take on another until he knew at least how to take care of one.
In his arms, the fox stirred slightly, giving a soft moan. Tsuki stroked its forehead soothingly, and it settled back down, eyes still shut.
His reason of coming to the daycare center was quite simple - after hatching the Riolu, he had cleaned it up, and that had all seemed quite natural, but he had absolutely no idea of what to do next. Chances were, the people here could help him out.

A baby Mew was trying its best to float, but fell to the ground. It hopped right back up and tried again, but still couldn't succeed. It walked unsteadily around, then spotted Tsuki. The baby Pokemon ran forward, but tripped over its own tail. It looked on the verge of bursting into tears. Another baby Mew ran over to it and started to comfort it. The Nursery Lady walked over to Tsuki and said, "Those siblings are so fond each other. Such a blessing that we get to watch over these young ones, isn't it? Were you here to raise one of them?"

Tsuki smiled gently, watching the two Mew's antics as they scuttled about the floor. Hearing their cries, Riolu stirred in his arms, squirming and giving a soft squeal.
"Actually, I was wondering if you could help me. See, this Riolu just hatched last night, down by the river, and I've no idea how to look after a baby pokémon."
The Riolu looked up at him balefully and squealed again. "See, I think it's hungry, but I don't know what to feed it. What does it eat? How do I take care of it, and what do I need? So I came here. I know you care for lots of baby pokémon, and I was wondering if you could steer me in the right direction?"

The Nursery Lady smiled at the fact that a caring trainer had come to her to ask advice. "I advise that you name it first, that always gives babies another reason to love their trainer. Newborns usually drink warm Moomoo Milk. But some trainers don't have any, so they have to do with water. After a few days, the baby will start to eat solid food, but you don't need to worry about that. And never keep a baby in a Pokeball, for they will feel lonely and scared. After two and a half months, the baby will mature and become an adult. To make your Riolu even happier, make sure you always have another Pokemon out to watch over and play wth your Riolu. I have some Moomoo Milk in my house if you'd like me to get it for you."

Tsuki's brows knitted together as he absorbed the new information. "MooMoo milk... got it. That comes from Miltanks, right?"
Riolu seemed to sense the gist of the conversation, as it gave a happy cry, nuzzling its snout against Tsuki's arm. He chuckled, stroking it gently. "Incidentally, where do I get MooMoo milk from? Can I buy it here, or what?"
Riolu seemed to have noticed the several baby pokémon around him. Gently slipping from Tsuki's arms, he took a few trembling steps, falling flat on his face and staring sadly at the two baby Mews. Tsuki bent down and helped the small fox to his wobbly feet again, but it soon became clear the Riolu would probably only be able to crawl about a little and interact with the fellow babies from the floor. Still, for a newborn, even being able to see and crawl around was a feat a human child wouldn't have managed. Tsuki grinned. "See, I gave it a little drink before we got here, but I think it probably needs something more... sustaining than that if it's to grow up healthy. If you've got some milk I could use, that would be perfect, thankyou."

The Nursery Lady nodded and disappeared into her house. She came back a few minutes later with a bottle full with milk, and a few more bottles of milk. She picked up one of the Mew and held it like a baby human. The Nursery Lady then popped the bottle into its mouth, and it suckled happily. She handed Tsuki a bottle and said, "Try feeding it now, it doesn look a bit hungry."

Tsuki nodded, gratefully accepting the bottle and beginning to administer it to the squirming Riolu in his arms. It sniffed the teat curiously, before sticking out a small pink toungue to lap at the milk that was beginning to drip out of the end. Giving a small squeal of delight, it clamped its jaws firmly around the bottle and began to drink, relaxing back into Tsuki's arms. Tsuki grinned as the milk began to drain out of the bottle.
The Rioly only stopped drinking when the bottle ran out of milk, Tsuki tipping it right up so it could lick at the last few drops. Giving a tiny cough, the fox then settled back down, its eyelids drooping. Tsuki chuckled quietly to himself.
"He looks like he enjoyed that." he said, looking up, a wide grin spread across his face. "Is there any chance I could buy some of this milk from you? Also, how often does this little guy need feeding? For his size, he seems to have a pretty big appetite."

The Nursery Lady just handed Tsuki a few of the bottles and said, "Twice a day, sometimes three based on how he's feeling. He should grow too olf for thte milk soon, and start feeding on other things he can get his hands on. That is all the basics. Any more questions?"

Tsuki shrugged.
"Hey, you said it might need a friend to play with." he mentioned, gently lowering Riolu to the floor, where it blinked and regarded the other baby pokémon with interest. "Does that mean it would be a good idea to take another baby as a companion, or is one baby enough?"
Riolu swiped a paw playfully at some of the babies, but overbalanced and fell on its nose, causing it to give a minute sneeze.
((Yay, cuteness! =D ))

The Nursery Lady smiled and said, "That would be wonderful, but quite a bit of work. You will be able to handle it, I do think. Let your Riolu find a companion."
Some of the babies gathered around the Riolu. A baby Entei gave a big yawn, then rubbed its eyes. A baby Moltres flew overhead, it seemed to be the oldest out of all the babies in the Nursery. A baby Leafeon was looking at Tsuki's Riolu, then turned around, and tried to bat its tail with its paw.

Riolu giggled softly at all the attention it was getting, glad for once to be the center of so many curious gazes. Squealing happily, he pushed himself up off the ground, gazing in rapture at some of the pokémon flying overhead - some rather unsteadily. There was a huge range, from Moltres to Rayquaza to Latios. Riolu swatted a paw vaguely at some of them, before turning his - or her, Tsuki hadn't quite worked it out yet - attention to the various baby pokémon on the floor. It regarded them all with a bleary-eyed gaze that clearly said 'come play with me, please!', and launched itself upon the nearest one - well, tried to, at least. It only really suceeded in grabbing playfully onto the Leafeon's tail before overbalancing and toppling forwards.

The baby Leafeon jumped in the air, scared out of its wits that something had been holding on to its tail. The Leafeon ran, bumping into a baby Rayquaza. The Rayquaza swatted the Leafeon off with its tail, then flew away. Two baby Mew, a Latias, and a Latios were almost laughing their heads off. That was one of the funniest things they've seen happen at the Nursery so far. They walked up to Riolu, trying to think what to act like with a guest around.

The Riolu giggled cheerfully as the Rayquaza flicked the Leafeon off, watching curiously as it flew effortlessly across the room. "We haven't any flying-types, see." he said cheerfully. "This is Riolu's first experience of them."
Riolu craned its neck as the Rayquaza flew above, snapping its tiny jaws a few times, but it was clearly not tall enough, and it soon lost attention as it gazed at the other baby pokémon around. Squealing with delight, the newborn shuffled hap-hazardly towards them, and it took the gentle helping hand - er, paw, of Tsuki to guide it to the nearest one. Riolu regarded the Lati's wings with interest, before giggling and clapping its paws together with delight. It was so awesome to meet all these new friends! Perhaps one of them would play with me?

The twin Me jumped around carelessly, each creating a small pink bubble while popping the other's. The two Mew flew in a circle, then floated to Riolu, each wearing a big grin.
The Latis laughed at the show given by thte two Mew. They, too, walked up to the Riolu. The Latias cocked her head, then poked Riolu with a giggle.

Riolu stared in awe at the light show given by the two Mew, waggling his tail excitedly as he watched them float about, seemingly envious that many of the pokémon here had the innate ability to float effortlessly around. He poked the Latias back in a friendly sort of way, giggling cheerfully to himself. Grabbing gently at the Latios' wing, he seemed surprised at the soft, almost feathery down that covered it, stroking it gently with one paw and squealing with excitement. Tsuki grinned.
"What do you think, Riolu? Are you ready to choose a companion?"
It was uncertain whether or not Riolu understood him, but he was having lots of fun watching the levitating pokémon; the Rayquaza, the Lati twins and the pair of Mew. Clapping his hands together again, he rocked gently back and forth. Tsuki turned to the Nursery lady.
"I don't know if Riolu's ready to choose yet, so maybe I should pick a partner for it. I'm sure Riolu would be very happy with any of these pokémon as a companion, but somehow, it seems a shame to split some of them up."

The Nursery Lady responded, "Quite understandable. We have a fair amount of lonesome legendary and regular babies, if you'd like to see any of them. There is one very friendly little Pokemon who've we had for some time. She's been alone for quite a while, though. Let me bring her to you."
The Nursery Lady disappeared and returned with a baby Absol. The baby gave a yawn then licked her nose nervously.

The Riolu squealed in delight. Even more friends! This was great. This one didn't seem to be able to fly, though. Oh well.
Stretching out a tentative paw, Riolu swatted at the baby Absol, twitching its tail from side to side eagerly. Tsuki was captivated by its glittering ruby eyes. As Riolu giggled to itself, before turning to stare at one of the new acrobatic tricks the levitating pokémon were performing, he felt the hairs on his bushy tail stand on end. Those eyes were beautiful, but also deadly in a way. That was his favourite thing about the dark-type, and he wondered for a moment if his eyes looked like that to other people. Probably not. he mused. I doubt the Umbreon runs that deep in me.

The Absol jumped in fright, then put her paws over her head in a cowardly fashion.
The Nursery Lady sighed and commented, "That's what makes her so hard to adopt. She never trusted anyone on this nursery. Who knows what she's gotten into before she came here."
The Absol was standing up, but her tail was under her, she was crouching down, and sniffing the ground as in to pretend she wasn't there like a dog would do.

Riolu giggled at the Absol's actions, but he was still distracted by the marvellous flying pokémon. Tsuki, however, was intently watching the Absol. He thought it was very pretty, and simply adorable. "I just wish I could take all of them." he sighed. "Well, maybe not all of them. But this Absol, and one of those levitating babies, too. Riolu seems simply captivated by them. But I suppose we'll have to choose. Hmm?"
He scratched behind Riolu's ear, and it gurgled with delight, its tail flicking back and forth like a metronome. Tsuki smiled, patting it on the head, before reaching out a tentative hand to the Absol, as if he were afraid it would bite him or something.

Absol took a step back from the hand as if it were cursed. She uttered a small whimper which turned into a growl and then a howl, which she cut off suddenly, surprised at the sounds she could make. Then she leaned forward and licked it nervously.
The Mew whirled over to Absol, patting her soft fur and giggling as they danced around Riolu's head.
The Day Care Lady smiled. "You could take them both, it's only an extra 500 if you adopt an extra one. Or you could go for just one, I see you already have a lot of work on your hands."

Tsuki ran his toungue around his lips as he tried to decide. "The money would not be much of a problem, but, ahh... I'm wondering if it will be too much to take on. Well, I guess I'm just soppy. I'd like to adopt that Absol there, and... maybe a baby Rayquaza or baby Mew? Have a look, Riolu."
Getting now more used to the use of its limbs, the Riolu scrambled ungainly up to Tsuki's shoulders, considering all the different pokémon there. Snapping his jaws at the tail of a Rayquaza that flew too close, Tsuki decided to take that one. It was closest after all.
"Yeah, and that Rayquaza. Here's the money."
Fishing in one pocket and placing Riolu on the floor, Tsuki brought out the needed money and handed it over. A silly grin was slowly leaking across his face.

The Nursary Lady smiled. "That's great. Here are the baby Pokemon, they should grow up in about two and a half months. Take good care of them, I know you will!" she said, handing him two Pokeballs and the two baby Pokemon.
Tsuki got a baby Absol and a baby Rayquazza!

Tsuki nodded. Scooping up the two babies, he allowed Riolu to climb up onto his shoulder. Loaded with baby pokémon, he must have looked rather odd as he proceeded out of the Nursery.

The Nursary Lady smiled and took Tsuki'd money. "Thank you, maybe I'll see you again." she said.
...I guess you can move on to the waterfall/somehwere else in Aqua Village...
